2025 IEI Conference Grant Available
This year the International Educators of Illinois team is proud to announce that we have designated three grants to cover the registration costs of the 2025 IEI Annual Conference. The 2025 Conference will take place in Rockford University at 5050 E. State Street, Rockford, IL 61108 on Friday, March 14, 2025.

"NASFA Regional Conference is one of the best professional training opportunities with sufficient resources that I have received since I found myself a role in international education. NASFA conference helped me understand the power of sharing knowledge and networking and released me from trying to solve issues all by myself. As an international student and Graduate Assistant in the Office of Global Engagement at Elmhurst University, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to attend the NAFSA 2024 Bi-Regional IV and V Conference. This experience would not have been possible without the generous grant from the International Educators of Illinois (IEI) Leadership Team.
With a background as a full-time Student Recruitment Executive in Vietnam, I am passionate about international education. I first learned about this grant and the International Educators of Illinois (IEI) through my manager, Tony Marotta, who encouraged me to apply. I had an unforgettable experience where I connected with colleagues from institutions across the Midwest and gained valuable insights into our field.
The conference has equipped me with new perspectives that I am excited to apply to my current work and future career. I hope that the IEI Leadership Team continues to provide this meaningful grant, enabling others like me to access such transformative opportunities.

To increase the global awareness and competencies of students studying at universities and colleges in the state of Illinois, the International Educators of Illinois (IEI) and The Asia Institute offer $2,000 in scholarship funding, which will support students seeking to participate in global learning experiences in Asia.
