Qualifications:
- Live or work in the state of Illinois
- Experience in the field of international education, specifically in relation to the position applying for
- Demonstrated commitment to international education and exchange programs
- Demonstrated commitment to the concept of professional development through participation in conferences and workshops
- Ability to foster communication with the team and within the state
- Demonstrated ability to complete projects thoroughly and timely
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player

Meeting Requirements:
- Weekly or bi-weekly conference calls with the IEI Leadership Team
- Annual IEI Conference
- State meeting at the regional conference (when possible)

Intern In the past, interns have assisted with a wide array of projects including event planning for the annual IEI conference, supporting initiatives related to specific knowledge communities, and creating and implementing research projects on behalf of our constituents.
